We have a part-time Community Educator/Health Promoter who designs and delivers workshops on a variety of sexual and reproductive health topics to a variety of community groups.
Our workshops:
- Provide current and comprehensive information
- Are sex-positive and emphasize healthy sexuality
- Facilitate the development of skills and personal insight
- Raise awareness of available resources in the community
- Assist participants in becoming comfortable with communicating about sexuality issues
- Are presented in an open and interactive environment to provoke thought and discussion
We are happy to work with you to design a workshop or program that is tailored specifically towards the needs of your group.
Topics can include (but are not limited to):
- Safer sex (STI prevention, birth control, etc.)
- Sexuality and relationship issues
- Sexual communication
- Sexual decision-making
- Parent-child communication about sexual issues
- Sexuality across the lifespan
