We have one doctor who offers sexuality counselling through our clinic. Examples of issues she deals with include (but are not limited to) low sexual desire; erectile dysfunction; and impact of menopause on sexuality. This service is free for Nova Scotians with a valid health card. It is also covered for most Canadians outside of Nova Scotia as long as they have a valid health card from their home province.
Typically, the initial appointment lasts 30 minutes. All appointments after that are scheduled to last for one hour.
